At Lown Brae we aim to breed quality, quiet Belted Galloways that have commercial traits. AI has been used extensively to introduce different bloodlines from over ten different bulls. The bulls range from traditional Scottish bloodlines to some leading US sires as well as local Australian bulls.

This season has been very promising and a number of pastures have a large body of feed. Lown Brae attended Farm Fest this year with huge success.

While Lown Brae did not participate in the shows this year, at the 2009 Toowoomba Royal Show, Lown Brae Bonita received Grand Champion Belted Galloway Female while Lown Brae Danza received second place and reserve Calf Champion.
